Golden Silvers have really taken off lately with their (FNMC fav) track True Romance, which even turned up on Modular’s Leave Them All Behind compilation (what the fuck?) amongst other things.

They’ve recently released a new single Please Venus, which on the contrary to True Romance’s dancey vibes, channels some more classic stuff….part 80’s pop, part slow waltz, part dub, part sunshine indie…and still the best British accent around at the moment, which gets me every time.

A friend of mine saw them in London recently and in his words…“Golden Silvers are by far the best thing i’ve seen . . more psychedelic than I imagined…. really good freak out jams”. Praying for some Australian tour action sometime soon.
