Love Connection’s debut self-titled album is out tomorrow (Jan 30) on Sensory Projects. I’m listening to it right now, and damn its just brilliant. Loose, trancy indie pop with a lot of heart. Don’t be fooled by the lead single I Know You’re Real, things get a lot weirder…. you’ll find yourself off with the fairies in no time. My favourite so far, Trilogy, clocks in at 6:23 and is posted here for your listening pleasure. There’s a distinct innocence to this album that is really uplifting.

Melbourne’s Love Connection are doing some great feeling indie pop a little different to everyone else. I love the dual/group vocals on I Know You’re Real, which give the track a kind of haunting feeling underneath everything that works really well. Check it out.

I Know You’re Real single launch is on 6pm 24th October at The Evelyn in Melbourne. $10 gets you Love Connection, Rat Vs Possum, The Parking Lot Experiments, Tantrums, Psuche, Milk Teddy and Dj’s and a free copy of the single.

Album out early 2010 on Sensory Projects.
