Vivian Girls were a lot of fun at Spectrum last night. All noisy, thrashy and yet also sunny & breezy, almost skate-punk feeling garage pop… Broken strings, smashing tambourines on guitars, instrument swapping while jamming mid song, feedback, dancing, jumping around in the crowd…yep, good times indeed. When I’m Gone was my favourite for the night.

They’re doing a 2nd Sydney show at The Hopetoun on Sunday 4th October…don’t miss it. And a lot of other shows around Australia still left…check out their myspace for dates. Thanks to Mistletone for bringing out yet another amazing band.
